Over the past 5 years, the city of Duluth has made amazing improvements to its downtown "Green" every year it gets better with new restaurants, amenities, homes, etc. This year is no different.

On Feb 18th, I attended the Duluth Vendors Meeting.

March 28 - Muddbugs and Music.

Enjoy endless crawfish with exotic flavors, live music, a beer garden and more on Duluth Town Green at the Muddbuggs and Music Festival! This family-friendly event is brought to you by Rock 100.5, New Country 101-FIVE and the City of Duluth. Muddbuggs and Music is an all-ages event with the freshest crawfish in the country, delicious low country boil, live musical acts and more. Kids 12 and under FREE with accompanying adult. 18 and under must have a legal guardian. There will be other food options available.

April 11 - Rotary Car Show

Enjoy some really beautiful custom and classic cars. Always a great time for the kids to see the "real-life hot wheels" cars. Great music and vendors on hand as well.

May 1 thru Sept 18 - Food Truck Fridays

Duluth is the place to be on Friday night from May-September as Food Trucks take over Downtown Duluth! Experience exotic flavors in a mobile vending setting with amazing local cuisine while listening to live entertainment on the Festival Center Stage and in Parsons Alley.

May 3rd - Duluth El Señor Taco Fest

There is no better duo than tacos and margaritas and that is why the City of Duluth is teaming up with Atlanta Creative Events to bring you the El Señor Taco Festival (formally known as the Margarita & Taco Festival). Join us for a Cinco de Mayo celebration on May 3 featuring  Georgia’s best tacos with 40 on-site food vendors and 12 bars.  This event is free to attend, however, if you plan to purchase alcohol from the event vendors you must purchase a $6 wristband on-site. Single margarita price will range from $8-$18 depending on size and type. Want the El Señor VIP Experience? For $40, you can enjoy 5 margaritas on the rocks, a chef-curated nacho bar, a tequila tasting exhibition, and mixologist demonstrations. Tickets for this experience can be purchased HERE.

May 23 & 24th - Spring Arts Fest

The Duluth Arts Festival features up to 60 painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metalwork, glass blowers, jewelers, and crafters! The Duluth Arts Festival will offer artist demonstrations, live acoustic music, a children’s play area, plus festival foods and beverages.

June 13 - Indie Green Festival

A day of allowing visitors and residents to find out information about modern and thoughtful lifestyles, as well as discover diverse vegan and vegetarian cuisine while shopping with local artisans. The festival will feature talks, workshops, kids' activities zone, and a large exhibition of cruelty-free and vegan products! Last but not least, we will team up the very best vegetarian and vegan-friendly restaurants to bring delicious food. This also includes the experience of Freeze Cream®.

July 3rd - Duluth Celebrates America

Celebrate Independence Day with us on July 3! Enjoy a fabulous fireworks display, live music, food trucks, children's activities (pay to play) and more on Duluth Town Green from 5:30-10:00pm. This event is free to attend!

July 18 - Whatever floats your boat

Whether you want to tube down the Chattahoochee River or just hang out at a local park , Whatever Floats Your Boat has something for everyone!  Join us for an unforgettable family-friendly event. This event is presented by 10 Dollar Tubing and the City of Duluth. Admission to this event is free but tubes, rafts, kayaks, and standup paddleboards will be available to rent for a small fee. You may also choose to bring your own.

July 29th Back to School Bubbleapalooza

Bring the kids down to Duluth Town Green for this free event to enjoy one of the last days of summer break! We'll have bubbles for the kids to play in along with large yard games and a DJ for entertainment!

Sep 12 - Fall Festival Concert

Sep 26-27 Fall Festival

Sep 26th @ 10am - Come see local schools—elementary through high school with different activities, fire trucks, antique cars, local dignitaries, boy scouts, girl scouts, dance classes, sponsors, and clowns! The parade begins Saturday at 10:00 am. Streets close by 9:45 am so come early.

Sep 27th @ 8am, the race starts with runners winding through historic Duluth. At the end of the race, participants receive a complimentary donut and coffee, courtesy of Dunkin Donuts on Buford Hwy, Duluth. The Festival also provides water and energy snacks.

Sep 27th @ 10am, Make plans to join us for “Worship on the Town Green” on Sunday morning with a community worship service beginning at 10 a.m. at the Duluth Town Green. This service will be led by staff, musicians and members of Duluth First United Methodist Church.

The Duluth Fall Festival Carnival returns this year to host a full-fledged carnival, with a variety of rides and games. Be sure to take a ride on the Ferris wheel, where you can get a bird’s eye view of the continually changing Duluth skyline.

Oct 6th - Steam

Join us for a night of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math in Parsons Alley as students from the Duluth school cluster showcase their project-based learning projects. Students will show off their real-world applications, investigations and more!

Oct 30th Howl on the Green

Howl On The Green is a family-friendly event. Bring your kids, friends and furry pets for a night filled with fun, sweet treats, great food and out-of-this-world entertainment on Duluth Town Green! The event turns into fright-at-dark. Fire dancers make their way through the crowds as mystical creatures emerge, while aerialists hang from the Festival Center Stage and dancing iconic fairytale characters light up the night! There is surprising entertainment for everyone to enjoy! **This event is rain or shine**

Dec 5th Deck the Hall

Bring in the holiday spirit in Duluth! Enjoy live entertainment, festive decorations and a tree lighting ceremony with a brand new laser show. There will be kids activities such as crafts, a snow playground, snow slide, a polar express train ride and more on Duluth Town Green. Chat with City Council Members during City Hall's Open House from 4pm-5pm and check out the beautiful decorations. Light refreshments will be available. Don't forget to stop by and say "hi" to Santa. The event is brought to you by the City of Duluth & Duluth Fall Festival. It is free to the public!
